VCU Software
AUTOSAR-compliant, modular, proven

VCU software for electric and hybrid vehicles

For more than ten years, our engineers have been working on the development and testing of electric and hybrid vehicle (xEV) concepts. With our VCU software for xEV applications, we make our knowledge, gathered in numerous development projects, available externally. With our AUTOSAR-compliant, modular and proven software modules, we thus offer developers a unique time and cost advantage for their development project.

The Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) is the central control unit. It coordinates a wide range of functions in the powertrain such as torque vectoring, thermal management or battery charge management.

Based on extensive knowledge and work in development projects, we have developed a VCU software whose individual functions are highly modular and designed to allow adaptation for almost all xEV powertrain configurations.

Reach the project goal faster with VCU software from Schaeffler Engineering
